Some Behind The Scenes shots from a shoot this week with Coral, with Charlotte Fisher on hair & make-up. As you can see here, we had a fun day. I’ve said it before, but having a relaxed, happy model is a vital part of a successful photoshoot. Good lighting and composition are also important, but it’s no good having the best lit photos in the world if the model is looking uncomfortable. For this reason we always try to have fun while we work. I pick make-up artists who are not only great at make-up, but also lovely people who are fun to hang out with, which really helps if I’m shooting someone who hasn’t modelled before. Obviously it makes my working day go a bit better as well if everyone’s relaxed and happy!
