Frequently Asked QuestionsPlease have a look through my FAQ and feel free to contact me if there's anything else you'd like to know about your London boudoir or glamour photoshoot.
What are your rates?
Please see my prices & fees for a detailed list of my standard rates.
Will my photos be kept private?
Absolutely. The photos on this site are used with kind permission of the models involved. You can choose to allow your boudoir or glamour photos to be used on this website or in my other promotional materials, but none of your photos will ever be used for anything without your consent.
Can I shoot more outfits?
When will I get the retouched photos?
How soon can I see the photos after my boudoir or glamour shoot?
Within the hour. It takes a little while to upload and process them, but you’ll normally have an email waiting when you get home. I also show you them on the camera at the end of each set, so you can check you have everything you need.
Where in London is the studio?
It’s in Central London 100m from Shadwell station on the DLR & Overground, and just half a mile east of Tower Bridge, so very central and easy to get to.
Do you give discounts?
I occasionally have special offers at quieter times of year, or if I’m trying to promote a certain type of shoot. Sign up for my newsletter on the homepage to get first details of any boudoir or glamour shoot offers.
Do you do other types of shoot?
As a creative person it’s always interesting to me to do different things, so please ask if you have another type of shoot you’d like to consider me for.
What do I need to do before the shoot?
I’ve found that shoots go much better with a little preparation, and the more we communicate in advance, the more relaxed you’ll be on the day. Please take a look at my Preparation page for a detailed look at what happens before your boudoir or glamour shoot.
How can I pay?
I accept cash, bank transfer, and new for 2015, credit cards (at the studio, not yet over the phone)
How long will the shoot last?
I don’t like to rush things, the aim is to make you relaxed & comfortable for your boudoir or glamour shoot. It’ll take 4-5 hours including hair &make-up, shooting, & looking through the photos afterwards.
Does it matter if I haven't posed before?
Not at all. I shoot newbies all the time & am very used to taking the time to get people relaxed in front of the camera. It’s helpful to practise posing in front of the mirror at home to get an idea of which angles suit you better.
Does my age/size/look matter?
No! Absolutely not. My photography is about bringing out the things you, your friends and family love about you in photographs. Everyone looks great with the right lighting, angles, and most importantly, a boudoir or glamour photographer they feel comfortable with.
How many photos do you take?
As many as we need. The average is around 200, but it can be anything from 120-300. I don’t keep track when I’m shooting, we just keep going till we have plenty of choice from each outfit.
Do you do Weddings?
I end up shooting one or two weddings per year, mostly because friends ask me to. I have to strictly limit it as it’s a long day that takes a lot of energy, but it’s always worth asking.
Who chooses the photos for retouching?
You do. Some photographers insist on choosing for you, but I believe only you know which photos best represent the side of you that you’re trying to show. I would pick based on eyes, lighting and I always get excited by anything new, so I wouldn’t necessarily pick the best boudoir or glamour pictures for you. I’m happy to offer my opinion if you get stuck.
What happens on the day?
Please see my Shoot Day page for full details of your boudoir or glamour photoshoot day.
Can I buy extra photos?
Of course! Extra retouched photos are £25 each, with discounts for bigger orders.
Will you retouch my photos?
I’ll retouch as much or as little as you like. I’ll discuss with you how you want the photos to look; my personal style is to keep it fairly natural.
What should I wear?
Your outfits are entirely up to you, we’ll discuss popular options and some hints as to what works on camera during our shoot planning. You bring your own, I don’t provide them, though I have one or two accessories such as sheets and other materials to drape over you. And lots of hats.
Can I see the studio?
Yes, you’re welcome to come and visit the location ahead of your boudoir or glamour photoshoot. Or, to save yourself a trip, see my Studio Page for shots taken in my current venue.
What if I need to cancel?
I understand that plans change, and people get bookings. Please appreciate that I can get very busy, and if you cancel at the last minute I’ll lose money as I won’t be able to fill your slot, so let me know as soon as possible if you might not be able to make it.
Do you test?
I occasionally do test shoots, but never in my day-to-day work of glamour and boudoir photography. I’m currently testing in fashion (agency models only), art nude, erotica and fetish.
