Abigail Baby Bump Shoot

I’ve been shooting Abigail for nine (!) years now, through modelling, fitness & bodybuilding phases. It’s been fascinating to record the changes in her body over that time, so it was particularly rewarding to shoot her with a baby bump, actually in the last week of her pregnancy. The connection between mother and unborn baby is a beautiful thing to see.

Owner Veronique says “It’s all lace and crystal embellished with trimmings. Each piece is unique to fit the personality and colouring of the client. In Abigail’s case I had the vision of pearls, pink and lace as she was pregnant, to suit the little girl she was expecting. If she had expected a boy her bikini would have been different, not automatically blue but less girly maybe. The bikini I made for her had to bring out the woman changing into a mother so I kept the sophistication that Abigail is about with the gold but added the pink pearl and lace to bring out the fragility of the pregnancy and her baby.”
